Charles Patterson Middle School/Killeen Independent School District
Academic Advisor
Texas
Born in Puerto Rico, I was a military child and lived in California, Germany, and New York, before coming to Texas. I was raised in Killeen and graduated from Killeen High School and then attended Tarleton State University-Central Texas and earned my undergraduate degree. I also have my master’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of North Texas. I am in my 21st year in education, where I have been an elementary teacher, elementary Spanish teacher, reading and math interventionist, and instructional coach.  I am currently the Academic Advisor at Charles Patterson Middle School in Killeen ISD. My passion is working with students who are Emergent Bilinguals and the teachers who serve them. If you really knew me, you would know that my first language is Spanish. I learned to speak English in Kinder.
